Fish and Chips?

The first place we ate at was Yankee Lobster. We got the fish and chips and clam chowder. Pretty good eats!

The Boston Children's Museum was great. We all had a great time playing in water, sand, bubbles, and with golf balls. I wish we had time to have gone more than once. The girls loved it as you can tell by their wet pants and happy smiles.

Walden Pond

The girls enjoyed throwing rocks and tree branches into the water.
I caught this great photo of these ducks right before they landed in the water. It is a very peaceful place. Due to flooding we couldn't walk to see where the actual location was of the Henry David Thoreau cabin was, but we did get to see the remake of it and a strange statue of H.D.T. Nathan and Bryon were having fun, pretending to be Thoreau's scholarly friends, or something like that.

Thoreau's Palace and Dream Swimming

Here is Bryon in the tiny home of Thoreau's. He lived here for two years.

Despite the fact that the girls love to swim, the water was way too cold and there was a sign that said,"No Swimming". That didn't stop several people with wet suits from diving in, but it did detour us from jumping in (mainly because we don't like the thought of swimming in cold water).

Ballet and New Nightgown

Addilee is so excited to be taking Ballet. She wanted Grammy and Papa (and everyone else) to see her new Ballet clothes.
Addilee has been asking if she could get pajamas like mine. I have one with a pocket on the shirt therefore she wants PJ's with a pocket. I also have another pair with a bow on the shirt and you guessed it, she wants PJ's with a bow. I decided to make her PJ's, but when she saw the pattern (that had several pictures of different PJ's that could be made with the same pattern) she decided that she wanted a nightgown. Here is Addilee's requested nightgown. She picked out the fabric, buttons and everything else. I put one pocket in it low enough for her to put her hand in and she said that she liked it, but could she have a pocket up higher like Mom's PJ's. The pockets are just big enough to be useful for holding dolls (very small dolls).

Easter Dresses

Here are my sweet girls wearing the matching dresses Grammy and Papa bought them. And yes, Joriann is saying that she is two. This is a rare occurrence because usually she holds up two fingers and says she, "I four".

Easter Picnic

Well it has been a year since I have posted anything on this blog. So here are a few of our pictures from our Easter picnic. It was so fun to enjoy time with our little family. It was an extremely windy day until Nate got the kite out. Then it stopped blowing and was calm as could be. Then Nate put the kite away and the gust of wind started right up. Oh well, The girls thought it was great for the few minutes our little kite stayed in the sky.
